Chris graduated from Colgate University with a BA in History in 1992. Following graduation, Chris joined Morgan Stanley where he worked as a generalist fixed income salesperson for sixteen years. In 2009, Chris left Morgan Stanley for Pali Capital where he oversaw fixed income sales for the firm. In 2010, Chris joined MPS Fixed Income to sell high grade corporate bonds and structured credit products. In 2012, Chris joined SumRidge Partners to enhance our presence among middle market, institutional, and broker dealer accounts, both domestically and abroad.

Brian graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Fairfield University in 2009.  Before joining SumRidge Partners, Brian worked as a Vice President in Investment Grade/High Yield Credit Sales at Imperial Capital providing coverage to Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Insurance Funds, and Private Banks.  In 2015, he joined Brean Capital as a Senior Vice President in Credit Sales.  Brian left Brean Capital at the end of 2016 to join SumRidge Partners to help grow their Institutional presence, with a focus on Hybrid capital.

Eric earned a BS in Business Management from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University in 2010. Following graduation, Eric began his career at BNP Paribas on its Fixed Income Credit Trading desk as an institutional salesman. Eric left BNP at the beginning of 2014 to join SumRidge Partners to help grow the sales effort, with a focus on investment grade institutional accounts.

Kevin graduated from the University of Scranton in 2007. Following graduation, Kevin began his career in the IB analyst program at Bear Stearns. After transitioning over to JPMorgan, Kevin worked in the fixed income Purchase & Sales department for 5 years, before spending a year working in mutual funds support. Kevin joined SumRidge Partners in 2012 to work on middle office/operations functionality, before transitioning over to sales in late 2013. He currently works on the corporate bond sales desk, working to enhance our market presence with many of our broker dealer and wealth management accounts, both domestically and abroad.

Jim graduated from Cook College, Rutgers University with a BS in Business Economics in 1986. In 1991, he earned his MBA in Finance from the Lubin School of Business, Pace University.

Jim started his professional career in the management trainee program at Bear Stearns, where he joined the institutional high yield bond desk in 1988. He has been an institutional high yield bond salesman for 20+ years, at various firms including Prudential Securities, Bank of Montreal, Samco Capital, and most recently at CIBC.

Jim joined SumRidge Partners sales team in June 2016 focusing on high yield securities.

Bruno graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Financial Economics in 2012. Following graduation, Bruno joined Morgan Stanley where he worked as a fixed income sales person for 2 years and as a EM fixed income sales person for 3 more years. In 2017, Bruno left Morgan Stanley and joined a cross-asset team at Standard Chartered Bank covering LATAM pension funds, banks and insurance companies excluding Brazilian entities. In November 2019, Bruno joined SumRidge Partners to enhance our presence among Latin American accounts.

Joao Paulo Lemos graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2007 with a degree in Business Finance. Joao Paulo started his career as a Fixed Income Trader at Santander Private Bank in Miami, and thereafter went to Credit Agricole Private Bank where he was head of the Execution Desk. In 2016 he moved to New York to transition to a Fixed Income Sales role at Banco Itau covering Latin American credits for North American clients.
Joao Paulo joined SumRidge’s team in May of 2018 with a focus on Emerging Market Debt.

Zach graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2005. Following graduation, Zach started his career at Brownstone on the regional dealer and middle markets sales desk. Zach left Brownstone in 2018 to join SumRidge Partners’ Corporate Sales Desk, with a focus on high yield, crossover, and investment grade corporate bonds.

Michael DiAgostino graduated from the University of New York at Stony Brook with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Following graduation, Michael was hired by Morgan Stanley as an analyst in their taxable fixed income trading department where he provided comprehensive marketing and trading support to MS Financial Advisors. In 2001, Michael was promoted to a sales manager role where he oversaw a 32 person fixed income sales team which covered Morgan Stanley's diverse network of financial advisors. In 2006, Michael left management to join the fixed income portfolio strategy group where he constructed and analyzed high net worth fixed income and cash management portfolios. Michael joined SumRidge Partners in 2011 as a member of the sales team, focusing primarily on our independent financial advisor client base.

Andrew received his undergraduate degree from Fairfield University in 2007, majoring in both Business Management and Marketing, and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University in 2014. in 2007 Andrew began working at UBS Financial Services, rotating around various sales desks before ultimately being placed with the Municipals Group where he worked from 2010 to 2018. Andy joined SumRidge Partners in November 2018 to help grow the institutional muni sales effort.

 

After graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Scranton with degrees in both Economics and Philosophy, Ryan began his career on the fixed income general sales desk at Morgan Stanley. Shortly after, Ryan was promoted to be a trading desk analyst on the corporate bond trading desk. After sharpening his analytical skill set, Ryan transitioned into various trading seats, including a proprietary trading book of high yield corporate bonds and institutional preferred securities. In 2011, Ryan left Morgan Stanley to join SumRidge Partners to trade high yield corporate bonds and institutional preferred securities (hybrids). In addition to his trading responsibilities, Ryan is also a member of the SumRidge management team, overseeing all trading for the firm, as well as written content. Ryan is a member of the company’s risk committee and shares responsibility in developing, monitoring, and maintaining firm risk limits.

Dallas graduated from Villanova University in 2012 with a degree in Finance, while also captaining the Villanova Basketball team. Dallas currently trades the healthcare and homebuilders high yield book for SumRidge.

Matt graduated from Marquette University in 2016 with a degree in Construction Engineering and Management.  Following graduation, he was a High Yield Credit Analyst for Aberdeen Standard Investments where he covered a variety of sectors.  Matt joined SumRidge Partners in 2018 as a High Yield Trader and is a Level III CFA Candidate.

 

Kieran earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston College in 2000. He began his finance career at Morgan Stanley where he spent eight years in various fixed income sales and trading capacities, culminating with trading positions covering both the Industrial and TMT sectors for institutional, middle market, and high net worth clients. Following Morgan Stanley, Kieran assumed similar trading roles at Pali Capital, MPS Fixed Income, and Knight Capital before joining SumRidge Partners in March 2013. Currently, Kieran trades the investment grade TMT, Insurance, and Auto book for SumRidge.

Ben earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Nebraska in 2003. Following graduation, Ben began his career as an investment grade trader at Arbor Research & Trading in Chicago. After a few years, Ben moved to Arbor's London office where he focused on non-dollar credit as well as rates trading. In 2007, Ben transitioned to the buy-side as the credit sector manager at Brown Brothers Harriman in New York. Ben was responsible for managing credit opportunity portfolios and mutual funds, as well as overseeing corporate bond trading. Ben joined SumRidge in 2011, and currently trades the investment grade Industrials book for SumRidge.

Mark graduated from Boston University in 1991 and went on to play in the American Hockey League for ten years before joining Morgan Stanley in 2001. Mark spent the bulk of his career at Morgan Stanley, trading corporate bonds with retail and middle market accounts. Over the years, Mark managed a large balance sheet of risk, predominantly in both financial and automotive bonds. In 2009, Mark joined Pali Capital where he served in a similar capacity. The following year, Mark joined MPS fixed income where he traded bank and finance names with maturities of seven years or less. In 2012, Mark joined SumRidge Partners to trade the bank and financial sector, bringing over ten years of trading experience to our desk.

Arlen earned his BA in Economics with a minor in Mandarin Chinese from Vanderbilt University in 2008. After graduation, Arlen began his trading career at BNP Paribas, trading Yankee bank securities and Hybrids. Arlen left BNP in 2012 to join SumRidge Partners to trade Yankee banks,Retailers, REITs, and Utilities on the investment grade credit desk.

Miguel trades Emerging Market and Non-USD denominated fixed income, focusing on Latin American Credit. Previously, he worked at Morgan Stanley in various roles within Wealth Management Fixed Income, including trading, structured note origination, as an interest rate product specialist, as well as a general bond salesperson. Miguel graduated from Boston College with a Bachelors of Science in Management and dual concentrations in Finance and Economics. Miguel was born in Argentina and spent most of his summers growing up in Mexico.

Troy graduated from M.I.T. in 2005 with degrees in both Computer Science and Finance.  He started his career as a software developer working on equity trading systems at Liquidnet before transitioning to a trading role at RBC Capital Markets in 2011.  Troy was an ETF market-maker trading primarily fixed-income ETFs within the Global Arbitrage and Trading group at RBC Capital Markets for five years.  Following RBC, Troy assumed a similar role at Arxis Capital before joining SumRidge in September 2017.

Justin graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Scranton in 2010 with a degree in Economics. Justin manages the Northwest municipal bond trading book and also authors Municipal Market Commentary twice a day, highlighting trends and voicing desk opinions on various states, credits, and themes in the municipal market.

Bobby earned a BS in Marketing and International Business with minors in Information Systems and Statistical Analysis and International Studies from Penn State University in 2003, as well as an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Fordham University in 2012. Following the completion of his undergraduate degrees, Bobby worked as a Risk Analyst at Marsh and McLennan Companies. Bobby left MMC in 2005 to join Merrill Lynch as a member of the municipal derivatives trading desk, where he started out as a trading assistant and eventually worked his way up to trading for the proprietary book. Eventually, Bobby moved over to the high grade municipal trading desk at Merrill Lynch in 2009, focusing primarily on East coast states. After almost nine years at Merrill Lynch, Bobby joined SumRidge Partners in 2014 to trade municipal bonds in the Northeast, as well as the Syndicate trading book.

Jim graduated with a degree in Political Science from Middlebury College in 1994. Jim brings fourteen years of experience as an Institutional Salesman and Sales Manager, having worked at Morgan Stanley and Piper Jaffray. In 2010, Jim changed roles and began a career as a municipal bond trader, concentrating on taxable municipals and Build America Bonds, as well as bonds issued from middle Atlantic states.

Dan started at SumRidge Partners after graduating from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2011 with a Bachelors of Engineering, with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering. Dan currently manages the South East book on the municipal trading desk.

Marvin graduated Cum Laude from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2007, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business, with dual concentrations in Finance and Accounting. He began his career as a Research Associate at Franklin Templeton in their High Yield Corporate division and was most recently an Analyst at Zazove Associates, an investment advisory firm focused on convertible securities. Marvin joined SumRidge Partners in 2014, bringing seven years of research experience in investment grade, high yield, and convertible bonds. Marvin is a CFA charter holder and member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.

John earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Lehigh University in 2001. Following graduation, John was hired as a unix systems developer in Lehman Brothers' analyst program. After three years at Lehman, John transitioned into a fixed income generalist sales role with UBS Wealth Management. In 2006, John joined Deutsche Bank as a Vice President fixed income sales trader, working with high net worth clients. John joined SumRidge Partners in 2010, bringing roughly ten years of industry experience with him in technology, sales, and trading capacities. John currently trades the TMT and Gaming/Leisure high yield book for SumRidge. John is also a CFA charter holder and member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.

Joe graduated from the University of Scranton in 2013 earning a B.S. in Finance, Joe is currently a credit analyst for the corporate trading desk, focused on the investment grade and high yield space.

Rebecca graduated with a degree in Computer Science. Following graduation, Rebecca began her career in systems development at Thompson McKinnon and ADP, where she worked with the NYSE floor specialists to build order match and routing systems. Rebecca spent over 20 years at Morgan Stanley where she worked on the front office and back office technology. Some of the projects were broker workstation automation for wealth advisors, equity and fixed income electronic trading systems, and web-based online trading systems for individual investors. Rebecca joined SumRidge Partners' management team in 2010 with responsibility for technology, operations, and administration.

After graduating from SUNY at Stony Brook with a PhD in Physics and Master in Computer Science (and post-doc work at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory), John was hired as a senior programmer to develop TheKnot.com website and later joined Morgan Stanley to build out their retail fixed income e-trading and risk systems. After ten years at Morgan Stanley, John spent a brief time enhancing Value-at-Risk systems at HSBC before joining SumRidge Partners in 2011 to play a senior role in the SumRidge technology team.

Xindong graduated from UCONN with a M.S. degree in Electrical and System Engineering. Following graduation, Xindong began his career in software development at Bristol Technology and BEA Systems, working on cross-platform software development. In 2004, Xindong joined the NextGen team at Smith Barney as a senior developer and worked on Report Center and Household Dashboard. After the Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney joint-venture, Xindong was the lead architect in the redesigning and rebuilding of the service central website and the asset allocation center. In 2012, Xindong joined the Technology team at SumRidge Partners.

Yun has a Masters in Information Systems and over fifteen years of experience in software analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation. In 2010, Yun joined SumRidge Partners' technology team and is responsible for the development of state-of-the-art trading systems, customer relationship management systems, and online reporting applications, as well as the database systems.

Amar joined SumRidge in 2019 bringing extensive experience in building high performance, low latency trading frameworks and technology platforms.  His innovations in the financial technology field have received various awards such as “Barclays Capital: Best Technology of the Year (2008)” award and “Credit Suisse Award of Excellence (2006)”.

He was responsible for the design and implementation of a next gen technology platform unifying the Bear Sterns and JP Morgan Prime Brokerage Businesses. He has also served on the architecture committees of various firms.

Amar has a Bachelors in Commerce with a major in Finance and a minor in Computer Science.

Peter brings extensive experience in Network Engineering and Project Management, and is also Network + Certified. Peter is responsible for administration and maintenance of SumRidge's network, management of network expansion projects, and support of trading and desktop technology.

Yizhou graduated with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Engineering School of NYU, and joined SumRidge Partners after graduation. Yizhou helps to build SumRidge online reporting applications, maintain SumRidge’s network, and support the trading desk.

A Graduate of Concordia College, Chris has been in the industry for 18 years. Chris spent nine years at Merrill Lynch reaching the title of Vice President in their capital markets group. Chris left Merrill to join KBC Financial Products as Senior Vice President running their Fixed Income Operations. In 2010, Chris joined SumRidge Partners, LLC as Head of Operations.

Kim earned a BS in Accounting from Iowa State University in 2012. Kim worked at JP Morgan from 2011 to 2015 as a Cash on Delivery Analyst, Buy-Ins and Fail Control Analyst and DTC Settlements Analyst. Kim brings extensive analytical and quantitative skills to our operations group.

Katherine Shim received her BA in Economics and Psychology at SUNY Buffalo and a MBA in Finance and General Management at Fordham University. After graduating from SUNY Buffalo, Katherine began her career in securities compliance and has worked for a diverse group of companies in the financial services industry. Prior to joining SumRidge Partners, Katherine was employed at Newedge USA, LLC as Director of Compliance and was in charge of its fixed income compliance. Katherine joined SumRidge Partners in 2014 and is responsible for all regulatory related matters.
