Phil Purcell is an original investor and board member of SumRidge Partners Holdings, LLC. Phil is the former Chairman and CEO of Morgan Stanley (1997-2005) and current President of his own private equity company, Continental Investors LLC. Phil was Vice Chairman of the New York Stock Exchange 1995 and 1996, was a Director of American Airlines and Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, and continues to serve as a Trustee for the University of Notre Dame.
John Dugan is an original investor and board member of SumRidge Partners Holdings, LLC. John is co-founder and General Partner of OCA Ventures with board responsibilities for National Billing Partners. Prior to his current role at OCA Ventures, John was the CEO of North America for Swiss Bank Corporation (SBC) and a member of the SBC Group Executive Board. Prior to SBC, John was managing partner of The O’Connor Partnership, a leading derivatives trading and financial risk management firm in Chicago.
Peter Crosbie is an original investor and board member of SumRidge Partners Holdings, LLC. Peter is the former CEO of BondDesk, a leading electronic bond trading platform for retail investors. Peter was formerly the CEO of Moody’s KMV, where he managed the merger of Moody’s Risk Management Services and KMV LLC in 2002. Prior to that, Peter was President of KMV LLC. Peter is currently a partner at Turing Risk Advisors, LLC.
Clarinda Lim is a Vice President of Stone Point. She joined Stone Point in 2010. Previously, Ms. Lim worked at Greenhill & Co. and the Financial Institutions Group at UBS Investment Bank. Ms. Lim is a director of Omni Holding Company LLC and SumRidge Partners. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology. She received a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Science.
Bob Dwyer is an original investor and board member of SumRidge Partners, LLC and SumRidge Partners Holdings, LLC. Bob was the National Sales Director for Morgan Stanley until his retirement in 1999. Prior to that, Bob was the Director of Fixed Income at Dean Witter from 1988 to 1990. He is presently a private investor and serves as a director for MasTec Inc., Bimini Capital Management Inc. and Mellon Optima Long/Short Strategy Fund. Bob recently served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Niagara University for almost twenty years.
Christopher M. Doody is a Principal of Stone Point. He joined Stone Point in 1998 from Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Doody is a director of AloStar Bank of Commerce, Grandpoint Capital, Inc., HCBF Holding Company, Inc., NXT Capital Inc., Preston Hollow Capital and SumRidge Partners. He holds a B.A. from Middlebury College and an M.B.A. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
Prior to launching SumRidge Partners, LLC in August 2010, Kevin Morano was Co-Head of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s Capital Markets division, and also a member of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s management and risk committees. Along with Tom O’Brien, Kevin was instrumental in building and developing the retail capital markets division into an industry leader. Prior to this, Kevin was head of sales and marketing for the Global Wealth Management Group’s Capital Markets division. Throughout his tenure at Morgan Stanley, Kevin held several sales and sales management positions within the fixed income division. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Villanova University, and is currently a member of The President’s Leadership Council. Kevin is also an active member of the SIFMA Retail Fixed Income Committee.
Prior to launching SumRidge Partners, LLC in August 2010, Tom O’Brien was Co-Head of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s Capital Markets division, and also a member of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s management and risk committees. Along with Kevin Morano, Tom was instrumental in building and developing the retail capital markets division into an industry leader. Prior to this, Tom was head of retail fixed income trading, which included US credit, rates, and municipal bond trading. Tom began his career with Dean Witter in 1991 as an institutional MBS trader and subsequently traded various fixed income products over his career, including CMOs, CDs, Agencies, and callable corporates, and later took responsibility for risk management oversight of several product lines. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Scranton and an MBA from Fordham University.
